Dr. Barrett is an orthopaedic surgeon currently in practice in the Seattle, Washington, area at Valley Orthopaedic Associates. A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Dr. Barrett completed his residency training at the University of Washington and then went on to complete a fellowship in arthritis surgery and joint reconstruction at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Barrett’s appointments include membership on the Committee on Surgical Skills Education, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and he has served on the editorial board of The Joint Letter-Joint Function, Injury, and Disease. He has hospital appointments at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington, and Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Barrett is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has lectured and published widely.
